In 2014 Raison d’Etre started integrating its own spa brand LivNordic, which included the very first sea faring snow grotto,exclusively on Viking Ocean Cruise Ships.

An important part of this journey was for us to implement the Raison d’Etre values that are inspired by a passion and love for life, wellness and service. These values have been the foundation of all of our award winning land-based spas since 1998 and we are now bringing them to the worlds oceans and rivers.

With several LivNordic Spas at sea under Raison d’Etre’s direct management, we havean experienced team on-board, who specialise in Cruise Ship Spa Consulting services and recruitment.

Since end of 2016, we have been approached by a number of cruise ship operators, asking us to support them in developing their own branded spas, based on the same values of refined service, authentic wellness and a passion for story telling, that is at the heart of who we are.

Raison d’Etre offers a fresh approach to spa and wellness experiences at sea with a focus on developing people and services to allow guests to reach the most authentic level of their personal wellbeing through the creative concepts we create and relationships we inspire.

In short, our mission is to infuse heart into the cruise ship spa industry.
